To the best FD I know

Jeremy read yesterday's post about being a foster mom and said, "It's kind of self-righteous." I hope you all didn't think that. I wouldn't have posted it if I had felt that way. I thought it was funny and I thought maybe some of you might read it and identify and want to be a foster mom because you know I'm always trying to get my friends to join in on the crazy!! So, I am really sorry if you thought that. I hope you didn't. This is just are crazy normal now. I have to laugh or I would go nuts working with this system.

So...I am going to have to think of a "You know you're a Foster Dad" list, but until I can come up with that here are a few pics of the best Foster Dad I know!!

Seriously....not only does he put up with all the craziness of the system; he also has to put up with me when that same system makes me crazy!!

He comes home to random children sitting around our dinner table because he's not just a foster dad,
he's at times, the neighborhood dad.

He gets up with the baby almost every morning when he's not traveling and gets his diaper changed and gives him his morning bottle.

He suctions his nose out so I don't have to.

He was the one who went and picked up the carseat when all the nurses thought we were the worst
people ever when we chose to not take our first placement call.

He is patient and kind. He is a hard worker and he has a great ability to go with the flow :).
Essential for us these days.
Love you!!

Glad J is such a support in this process! Such a nice tribute to him. Love that God gives us our husbands to keep us rational when we get overwhelmed by emotions! Cute pic of him and B....B's little smile is adorable!
